Institut Catholique de Toulouse (IULCF)
Description
Toulouse is the fourth city of France. The city and its
environs have almost a million inhabitants. The "Pink
City" is famous by its life quality and its gastronomy.
It enjoys good weather and the surroundings are of an
exceptional beauty. The Institute is an establishment
of university education. It occupies buildings constructed
throughout the 14th and 19th centuries , that constitute
a remarkable archaeological and architectonic set. They
have been renewed totally. The IULCF is located downtown.
Lodging
The IULCF can organize the lodging in university residence,
host family, students home, rooms in the institute or
in a hotel.
Academics
The courses are made up of diverse modules: civilization,
grammar, written and oral comprehension (audio or video
support) and oral and written expression. A book in particular
(except for absolute beginners) is not used; with the
others, the materials adapts to the needs and requests
of each group and are documents drafted specially from
newspaper articles, extracted texts from the Internet,
recordings, audio and videos, etc. Groups do not have
more than 16 people and has a tutorial system (individual
aid). DELF and DALF exams are prepared.
Activities
Guided visits to the city and the region are made. The
foreign students can meet French students with the intention
of practicing the language and discover the French lifestyle.
For those students with an intermediate or advanced level,
exists the possibility to access to the Literature College:
history, geography, Literature, history of the art, linguistic,
courses of language as well as conferences.
