Description
The Institut Parisien is a private establishment of free
superior education and an organism of continuous professional
formation. Located next to the Eiffel Tower, the Institute
has a very easy access. It has a modern atmosphere and
a space of formation and documentation with free access
to Internet.
Lodging
The Institut Parisien offers these lodging options: a
host family, hotel, residence hotel, hostel and international
student’s residence.
Academics
The courses begin every week and its duration depends
on the choice of the student. The levels go from beginners
to advance and the groups do not have more than 12 students
per class. It has different types of courses. The intensive
ones are of 20 hours per week, they allow the learning
of the French language and stimulate the oral understanding
and the written expression. The semi-intensive courses
of 10 hours per week take like starting point videos and
newspaper articles on the present time to practice the
French language. The super intensive course of 30 hours
combines the semi intensive in the morning and the intensive
one in the evening. There are also particular courses
to optimize the learning and the practice of the French
language.
Activities
In order to improve the French language and culture, the
students participate in conferences, they attend to films
projections and they walk by Paris and its environs with
the aid of guides. All the weeks the conferences propose
a new subject, literary, historical or artistic. Through
the projections of movies and the debates, the students
discover the French cinema. The excursion are guided,
documented and commented. They go to the house of Monet
in Giverny, to the Louvre Museum, the Comédie Française,
etc.
