Description
The École Suisse Internationale de Français Appliqué is the educational department of the Swiss Commercial Circle, a non-profit organisation. The school is located in the heart of Paris, on the Rue des messageries is a small, quiet street in a charming old part of Paris, not far from Montmartre and the Sacré-Coeur. Close to the school, there are many busy shopping streets. The school has 7 classrooms including one with computers, one with a video recording system and a language lab. In addition, there is a cafeteria and a community hall where we sometimes organise parties.

Lodging
The offered options of lodging include host family house, studio or hotel.

Academics
The courses have usually 6 to 12 students. Special material elaborated by the same professors are used, also press articles, TV and radio shows, etc. There are two kinds of intensive courses. The first one, is distributed in 3 levels: level A for beginners; B for students who speak and write French, and finally levels C and D are improvement short courses to prepare the French exams (DELF - DALF, CCIP, CCS). The second one, is a specially orientated course for executives and administrators (individual courses and mixed formulas). There are also many special groups programs.

Activities
Every week, a professor takes the students to those places where is difficult to go alone, like to Les Halls de Rungis (the great market near Paris), Citroën, Renault, L'Oréal, the Paris Stock Market , the Port of Paris, different exhibitions (the Impressionist for example), or the old part of Paris. Other activities such as theater, opera or sports are possible with the agreement and desires of the participants. There are frequent excursions outside Paris (Normandy, Britain, Loire, Burgundy, Champagne).
