Description
The School is located in one of the most beautiful districts
of Paris, next to Victor Hugo Square, with its multiple
coffees and overwhelming stores, the avenue Champs Elysees
and the Eiffel Tower. France Langue is very near La Defènse,
the Parisian center of business and elegant residential
districts. With the subway it is only a few minutes away
from the most famous museums of the city.
Lodging
The students can lodge in host family houses, student
residences, hotels or apartments.
Academics
The intensive standard courses are available all the year.
The student decides how many weeks he wants to study and
when to begin. He can choose between 20, 30 or 40 hours
per week. The individual courses offer special programs,
to bring solutions to the student needs and where oral
and written skills are developed. Finally, it is possible
to attend intensive semester courses in Paris. They are
oriented to those who will be in Paris for a long period.
Students can obtain academic credits with these courses.
Its objective is to deeply develop the communicative skills
and to prepare the required examinations.
Activities
Many times a week, in the morning or the afternoon, the
teachers organize visits to museums and exhibitions. These
tours always have a cultural intention. Almost every night,
an evening out is organized by France Langue: to the opera,
concerts, theatre or restaurant. One or two teachers host
the evening. Students can also participate of wine, chocolate
and cheese tasting. Depending on the season, excursions
are offered around Paris : in summer, the "Fêtes
de nuit" at the Château de Versailles, candlelight
dinners at Vaux-le -Vicomte, picnics . Weekend excursions
are organized to Brittany, Normandy, Burgundy, the castles
of the Loire, the festival of lyrical art in Aix-en-Provence.
The students with particular artistic talents (music,
gourmet...) are asked sometimes to organize in the school
a special night. Those who love sports can obtain discounts
in clubs and gymnasiums to practice tennis, swimming or
any other sport of their election.
